...I'm tardy

I hope you guys enjoyed the festivities yesterday. My friends and I barbequed, swam, jacuzzied, s'mored, mini-golfed, and drove around looking for a good spot to watch the fireworks, so it was a pretty full day!

I even got an honest-to-goodness 4th of July wound! My right hand was engulfed in a fireball after using too much lighter fluid to start the grill, denying the advice of friend , much to my detriment! It singed all the hair off my hand and some of my arm, and left a pretty good burn on 3 of my 5 fingers. (Needless to say, I left the remainder of the grilling and cooking with fire to her!) And in spite of having to carry around a bag of ice in my hand for the rest of the day, it was a pretty nice day and afternoon. I even tied for best score at putt-putt with an injured hand!

Days are winding down toward my embarkment to Japan; gotta get some preparations done this week since I have been kinda slacking off. Don't know how active I'll be on dA once I get there, but I'll try to stick around.
